sun, sand, sea, faye wong?

Ah... Sentosa yesterday. The above is a photo of Sentosa during sunset, at Siloso Beach.

Was at Sentosa with Si yesterday again. Lovely weather, not too hot. As we were leaving, it rained. but no matter, i still enjoyed myself. I love the sun, the sand, the sea, the smell of everything there.

While there yesterday, i contemplated certain things. and well, it isn't easy quitting smth ive been doing for a long time, and going thru all the withdrawal symptoms like fucking bad headaches, stomach problems and all, but well, ive come so far, i won't stop. as well, the sun and all and feeling good yesterday, not the least bit unwell, made me think tt im lucky to still be healthy, to still be able to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea.

I chanced upon this quote sometime ago. "Everyday above the ground is a happy day." i could not agree more to this. Everyday alive and healthy, feeling good, not feeling unwell, is a happy day. able enough to enjoy the sun, see the wonderful colours of the sky, the sand, the sea, is a happy day. of course, nothing would be complete with the girlfriend and her love, with my friends and the copious amounts of friendship we have for each other, family, and most importantly, though i have said it before, the girlfriend's love.

Everyday above the ground is a happy day, aye?
