pissed.
mood: pissed off

i am royally pissed off. i just got to make a new friend today, only to realise that both our trial periods have ended and i have no way of contacting her again though she says she would love to keep in touch. so would i, i mean. just that she didn't give me her details as to how i go about keeping in touch with her. which can only mean one thing. either she truly forgot, or it was just a patronising message. well. this then got me thinking about how people can be really patronising. i guess it is in every one of us. maybe because we don't know how to say no, or we don't wanna seem rude, so patronising someone is just our considerate way of brushing him/her off. but does it work? that is the million dollar question. well. to me, i don't think so. patronising people may seem common, but it is precisely because everyone does it, that is why everyone will feel it. be it the rudeness, the rejection etc, the one you patronise will surely feel it. and then it gets worse. because they know they're patronised, so they get annoyed. its such a wierd thing, don't u think? i guess we all need to learn how to say no politely. only thing is, i haven't quite learnt it yet. i mean, i have learnt how to say no, i just haven't learnt to say it quite as politely as i want it to be. maybe because i'm just straightforward? oh my. what a lot of things to think about. not including the fact that i have so many readings to do to catch up on my schoolwork. well. thought of the day: to patronise, or not to patronise?
