some stories
"If I told you that now, it would ruin the ending, wouldn't it?"
I just finished reading Jeanetter Winterson's Boating for Beginners, and there was this line above about endings that made me wonder.
It's kinda true, isn't it? There are so many things out there that are unknown. If we were to know it, there wouldn't be anything to look forward to. If one keeps pushing for something that isn't meant to be told now, or isn't meant to happen now, what could have been a beautiful ending would then not be anything at all.
That's why a lot of times, it is better to be patient. That's why a lot of times, it is better to see things through to another day, and another and many more to come, because a beautiful ending, a lovely future is somewhere out there.
