Things i have learnt from doing English tuition references and exercises for Pri 1 schoolkids:

1. I never knew what the appropriate meaning of receptacles was until now.

2. Did you know that hens are wasteful, and cows are useful??? Luckily enough, i was born in the year of an ox/cow. So, i'm useful!! hooray??!!??

3. The thought of bears lumbering and being clumsy is very cute.

4. Thinking of pigs squealing and trotting is frankly, hilarious. Picture it, really.

5. The last thing i have learnt? I am as mad as a March hare. (Learning similes, Part 101)


And my thought of the day for everyone?

Did you know that pigs are the fastest fat animals?? They run the fastest among fat creatures. Someone told me this piece of hilarious info quite sometime ago!

And, the second and last thought of the day?

This is a new simile. As lazy / sleepy / piggish as my girlfriend.


Ok im escaping before i get sat on by the darling. Back to rushing tuition notes for P1 kids.
