sniffing me, sniffing you

Do you have a certain kind of scent that people associate you with? Or do you associate people with certain kinds of scents that you get a whiff of while passing by others?

Because I do associate certain people with certain types of scents. Of course, they are all pleasant scents.

I realised that everyone around me associates me with the CK Be scent. I had a friend who told me that even though I was behind her and she couldn't see me, she knew it was me because of the scent. And I had another friend who told me that she could smell my CK Be from a mile away, and even if she was passing by someone who had the same scent, she would think it was me. And yet another of my friend names the CK Be scent: "your scent, S!"

My girl associates me with CK Be too. I recall her once telling me that the first time I met her, she smelt this scent on me and she got high. That was pretty hilarious but also pretty sweet. Apparently it was mostly because of CK Be that induced her to kiss me for the first time. Sweet.

Certain scents also bring to mind certain people, in my case. Some of my friends smell fresh and clean all the time, like they just had a shower. Some smell like baby powder. And I associate one of my close friends with Ferragamo.

But the smell of Dove shampoo is what brings back the most memories. The smell of Dove shampoo brings to mind a certain girl I do so love. My girl smells of Dove shampoo. Everytime I smell Dove shampoo, I think of all those times in the past, where I frequently stayed over at her place, and she would come out of the shower smelling nice and sweet and all Dove-y. It would make me wanna just hold her and kiss her senseless. Yep, the smell of Dove shampoo. Makes my heart melt. Hah.

I wonder what certain scents people associate all you people with, and what you associate with others. Yep, food for thought. Or rather, scent for thought. Haha.
