saying sorrys

"And when they were finished with crying and saying sorry, the explanations would be expected. Because there was no point in saying sorry unless you explained what you were sorry about. She was sorry. But sorry never changed a thing at the end of the day."

Sometimes, while reading a book, you find pieces of gems in it. If you're lucky, you read something that really holds meaning to you, and it makes you think. That was precisely what this book did to me. Made me think.
Well, it is true, sorry never changes anything at the end of the day. I would rather do something that would change whatever that made me had to say sorry, than to keep apologising. The thing is, when one quarrels, the only thing that matters is to picify the angry person, so one would just say sorry.

Yes, sorry signifies you know you're wrong, and you want to do right. But if you keep saying sorry, yet the other party knows that this familiar scene will just replay itself once again, nothing would have changed ultimately.
What i want is to get rid of something unwanted, something that causes hurt and harm. and to do so, i try to change each time i know i do something that anger someone.

I know you're trying to, and i appreciate it so much. Thank you, with all my heart.
