insect friend and me

Well, frankly, I think there's a connection between orange-coloured teeny weeny insects that are found on trees, has either 6 or 8 legs and no wings, and me.

Twice, this orange-coloured teeny weeny insect has fallen from whatever tree it was on, to somewhere on me, specifically my shoulders or on my head. Luckily, my insect friend has enough sense to be orange/light brown in colour, so it stands out on my dark-coloured hair.

Or maybe, it just wants to stand out. Perhaps my insect friend has had enough of not standing out on tree trunks. So it probably wanted to stand out on me. Now, why didn't I think of that sooner?

Wednesday, my orange insect friend fell on me when I was passing under a tree, and thanks to my girl who had sharp eyes (and a sharp squeal too!), my insect friend died under my very cruel Ripples slippers. Just now, my insect friend fell on my shoulder and decided to have a game of hide and seek. But my dad saw it, and so it too, died a very painful death. Cause of death? Death By Birkenstocks-Crushing.

This post shall officially be named My Insect Friend, Jane (change name to whatever name you so desire) And Me.
