This was taken at the Passenger Pick-Up Point at the MRT train station nearest to my house.

Note the circled words -- "Only Idiots cycle on walkways."

I agree, totally!! This stupid sign cracked me up when I saw it, and I couldn't stop laughing even after I got into my friend's car.

I am total agreement with whoever wrote that. "Only idiots cycle on walkways." I absolutely hate it when, on mornings when the walkway is full of pedestrians and everyone's rushing to school or work, and I am already half an hour late, and along comes a cyclist with nothing to do, ringing his damn bell and speeding past as if he was Lance Armstrong on some bike race. Then there is a mad rush as every pedestrian walking on the walkway attempts to dive into bushes, run faster than the bike, hide behind trees, or dodge like they're playing dodgeball, to avoid being hit by the cyclist.

Hello, doesn't the word 'walk' mean anything? Walkway. Obviously it's for pedestrians who walk, ain't it so? Not for cyclists who cycle. There should be a 'cycleway' for these damn free Lance-Armstrong-wannabe cyclists who have nothing to do.

I propose a 'cycleway' be built outside the train station near my house soon.
