enunciating emotions

like the powerful gravitational force of the Black Hole
swirling stars and dust around and around the black pit
thoughts and words whirling around in my mind
words that were said, harsh comments that were hurled
all twirl and whirl inside, dizzy, disoriented.

unbelievable, the things we hole up inside
unthinkable, the things we do when provoked
inconceivable, the thoughts we have when angry
implausible, the words we say when we want to hurt.

to understand, it is not an easy concept
to try to understand, it requires patience and tolerance
at times, understanding is of great importance
and to understand that understanding is pertinent,
takes patience, tolerance, love, and a listening ear.

it is a world full of contradictions
all it takes is a little understanding and listening
step into my world
perhaps contradictions will be easier understood.

too much becomes too little
passiveness becomes not bothering
give a little of yourself to me
give a little of myself to you

insults hurled, emotions made fun of, feelings laughed at
attempting to explain, in order to let one understand
dramatic, melodramatic, do i even have a life?
step out of it already, stop it already, it's not as if..

step back, head bowed, shoulders hunched against the cold
there can only be a battle if both parties want to fight
there was no battle won or lost.

the intention to hurt
comes with the knowledge of what hurts most
spitting it out, hurling those daggers
for what hurts most is the intention
